American Angler Classic Surf Fishing Tournament on Nov 1st in Seaside Park

American Angler would like to announce and invite all anglers to the 2nd Annual American Angler Classic Surf Fishing Tournament on Sunday, November 1st in Seaside Park, NJ. This surf fishing tournament is an individual (adult and youth) and friendly tournament with over $1000.00 in retails fishing prizes and gift certificates to be won. Simple rules with a category for kids! All social distancing rules need to be adhered too. Please go to www.Americananglerus.com to download the application or registered with PayPal or Venmo below. Please put ” for tournament” in the notes!
1) Due to the Covid situation which is lingering amongst us, there will be no awards ceremony and food after the tournament. The borough of Seaside Park put this restriction in. All awards won will be hand delivered via mail to the winners over the following days.
2) Yes there is 4×4 access! However, Seaside Park is imposing a $10,00 4×4 fee for the day of the tournament. WE HAVE TO collect these fees before October 30th. If you wish to have 4×4 access and do not have the Seaside Park permit already, please send me a check for $10.00 for each vehicle you desire on the beach with your license plate number and state you are from. 3) Any Angler signed up at this point and to October 20th will be entitled to the free raffle of Costa Delmar Sunglasses. That drawing will take place the week of October 20th and prize will be brought to the tournament. Thank you for signing up early!
4) Registration is still at the Municipal Complex in Seaside Park, second floor Court/Conference room. 1 Municipal Plaza, Seaside Park, NJ Starting at 6 am. This location is subject to change. You do not have to come to this registration. However, our Calcutta buy in and free goodies such as Fishbites and complimentary Fisherman Magazines will be available for those who wish to participate. This area is subject to change and please keep social distancing rules in place.
5) Island Beach Motor Lodge in South Seaside Park is offering November rates for the entire weekend. If interested, just mention that you are with the fishing tournament. 103 Central Ave, Seaside Park, NJ. (732) 793-5400
7) In honor of Veteran’s day a few days later, we are bringing back the best patriotic display on the beach award. Our judges will be looking out for this and reporting back to HQ and that Angler will be awarded a special prize! Just decorate your presence on the beach at that is it!
8) Plus a free Century Rod/Advanced Fishing Demo to directly follow the tournament. Century Rod will have their Surf, Boat and Back Bay rods available to test and to discuss. Plus all attendees will receive a 10% percent discount towards their rods for just attending.
