With one week to go in the 71st LBI Surf Fishing Classic, weigh-ins continue each day! Yesterday, here at Jingles, John Sullivan brought in this 9.20# and 29″ striped bass that he caught on a lure in Holgate! And Danny Federico also brought in a catch – he had a 1.3# weakfish. Connor Smilon is out fishing this morning in Beach Haven and caught a short on a bucktail. He is also reporting bunker tight to the beach this morning. Anglers continue to get tog up at the lighthouse that are also still being weighed in for the tournament. So if you are here this week for the Thanksgiving Holiday, then be sure to get out on the beach and do some surf fishing or get up on the rocks and catch some tog!
