DAILY REPORT

It’s another overcast, cooler morning here in Beach Haven. The wind this morning is not too bad coming from the E at about 11mph but the wind may pick up at the day gets on. Currently the surf is rough with 3-4 foot waves coming in quite frequently but they will get bigger as the hurricane gets closer tomorrow. You will need about 6-8oz to hold. Beach Haven water temp is 73.8°. The air temp is currently 69° and heading to 73°. Please be advised there is NO SWIMMING IN THE OCEAN UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!

The bay is calm and 70.7°.

Low tide is at 12:13AM and 12:10PM. High tide is at 6:06AM and 6:30PM.

Hurricane Erin has put damper on ocean fishing, but the bay is calm so you can still get out back to do some fluke fishing. Looking for something to do with the kids, take them to a bulkhead – you can do some crabbing or grab a pole and drop some squid straight down by the bulkhead and bounce off the bottom – there are croakers, sea bass, blowfish – lots of fun!

Today we have MINNOWS and BLOODWORMS! Don’t forget your bait bucket – If you do not have one, we have Jingles Bait Buckets for just $3! Send us your fishing reports to Instagram, FaceBook or jinglesbait@comcast.net.
