It’s a beautiful, sunny, warm Monday morning here in Beach Haven! The wind this morning is mild coming from the NNW at about 7mph. Currently the surf is calm with 1-2 foot waves. You will need about 3-4oz to hold. Beach Haven water temp is 69.8°. The air temp is currently 77° and heading to 86°.
The bay is calm and 74.5°.
Low tide is at 5:08AM and 5:17PM. High tide is at 11:20AM and 11:26PM.
So as I said yesterday, the weekend was only half over and so on Sunday we had a couple fluke weigh-ins! First Aiden Hunsberger caught a nice fluke off the surf – his was 3.04# and 20.5″. Then Jeff Lane was out at Garden State South and caught this beauty for the in-store tournament – 6.04# and 24.5″. This puts Jeff in third place for the time being. We have had a few kingfish reports off the surf and customers are saying cabbing has been really good this year too so there is a lot to do out there. Get at it!
