It’s a beautifully sunny but again warm and humid morning here in Beach Haven. Wind is almost non-existent this morning coming from the SW at about 1mph. Currently the surf is calm with 0-1 foot waves. You will need about 3-4oz to hold. Beach Haven water temp is 76.2°. The air temp is currently 77° and heading to 86°.
The bay is calm and 78.1°.
Low tide is at 6:27AM and 6:57PM. High tide is at 12:07AM and 12:48PM.
Some more fluke weigh-ins over the last couple of days! Over the weekend, Paul Melledis caught this nice 3.84# and 22.5″ fluke out front in the ocean at one of the reefs. And on Monday, Orlando caught this doormat for the fluke tournament at 5.48# and 24′! Orlando was using gulp. So fluke are still out back, in the inlet and our front – Minows, Squid, Gulp – all are producing!
The Miss Beach Haven had a great afternoon trip yesterday with a bunch of keepers of fluke and sea bass. She is not sailing today but is back on schedule tomorrow. Morning ocean trips and afternoon inlet trips. On weekends she is running dusk (or what I like to think of as Happy Hour) trips from 5-8pm. BYOB and enjoy some fishing or a boat ride!
