DAILY REPORT

It’s a sunny, HOT and HUMID July morning here in Beach Haven! This morning the wind is mild coming from the SW at about 7mph. Currently the surf is moderate with 2-3 foot waves. You will need about 4-5oz to hold. Beach Haven water temp is 73.1°. The air temp is currently 79° and heading to 90°!

The bay is calm and 77°.

Low tide is at 12:52AM and 12:42PM. High tide is at 6:48AM and 7:04PM.

Fluke weigh-ins continue – Sunday evening JoAnn caught this beauty flattie at 4.9# and 24″ and yesterday, Mark Clark had a 3.18# and 20 3/4″ keeper caught right out back of Beach Haven. Anglers are catching plenty of fluke off the surf as well and of course there are lots of dogfish and rays as well. Sea Bass is open and they are catching them at Little Egg but it is only 1 per person.

Yesterday the island acquired 4 new Janglers – Congrats to the class of Monday, July 7th! Tomorrow’s class is full but we still have every Monday and Wednesday through the summer – Call the store to register 609-492-2795.
