DAILY REPORT

IT IS JULY!! It’s another warm, humid morning as well as overcast here in Beach Haven but we should see the sun very shortly! But prepare…. storms coming through later today. This morning the wind is coming from the SW at about 10mph. Beach Haven water temp is 69.7°. The air temp is currently 75° and heading to 85°!

The bay is flat calm and 75.6°.

Low tide is at 7:11AM and 7:31PM. High tide is at 12:52AM and 1:35PM.

Well, we still have some big bluefish out there – Sean Helper brought in this 7.06# and 28″ bluefish yesterday off the surf. And as I said yesterday… fluke, fluke, fluke – and a what a fluke we weeighed in – Cheri Hebert caught this 7.12# and 26 1/4″ doormat in the ocean yesterday using minnows. This puts Cheri in first place in the Jingles Store Tournament. The Miss Beach Haven was out at Little Egg Reef yesterday and caught a whole bunch of short fluke and a handful of legal size sea bass (that had to go back in the water) – but Black Sea Bass opens again today at 1 fish (12.5″) per person. Miss Beach Haven is now going out everyday at 8am – noon, and select afternoon and dusk trips. Book online at www.missbeachhaven.com.

We have four new Janglers on the island – Congrats to class of Monday, June 30!

Today we have MINNOWS and BLOODWORMS! Don’t forget your bait bucket – If you do not have one, we have Jingles Bait Buckets for just $3! Send us your fishing reports to Instagram, FaceBook or jinglesbait@comcast.net.
