DAILY REPORT

It’s another sunny, hot morning here in Beach Haven today although started a bit foggy! The wind right now is almost non-existent coming from the NW at about 3mph. Currently the surf is calm with 1-2 foot waves. You will need about 3-4oz to hold. Beach Haven water temp is about 77°. The air temp is currently 74° and heading to 84°.

The bay is calm and 78.1°.

Low tide is at 7:09AM and 8:03PM. High tide is at 1:11AM and 1:43PM.

The bay water is still super warm so head over to the inlet or out to the reefs for fluke fishing. Getting keepers has still been a little tough but anglers are working it and coming home with a couple. Here, some of the Jingles team (Ryan, Dylan and Mason) were out at one of the Garden State reefs an came back with two keeper fluke and a sea bass! Getting reports there are snap blues and of course you can always have some fun with the kids by bouncing some squid off the bottom by the bulkhead – always little blowfish, seabass and more. On the surf, there has been a lot of fluke action but again, mostly shorts and some kingfish and small blues.

And Congratulations to our newest Janglers! Class of Monday, August 17th – Tight lines!
