Daily Report

It’s a beautiful, sunny morning here in Beach Haven today…..And let the vacations begin! School is out, the weather is hot and July 4th is right around the corner! The wind right now is mild coming from the NE at about 6mph. Currently the surf is calm with 2-3 foot waves. You will need about 3-4oz to hold. Beach Haven water temp is about 69°. The air temp is currently 70° and heading to 75°.

The bay is calm and 69.1°.

Low tide is at 2:17AM and 2:09PM. High tide is at 8:12AM and 8:22PM.

Hearing more and more reports of fluke being caught! The BH Marlin & Tuna club had their Fluke-a-Mania tournament this past Saturday with 51 fluke caught overall! Here at the shop, Harry Copeland caught and weighed in this keeper for the store tournament at 2.65# and 20.25″ – he was out back of Beach Haven. And off the surf, Kellan caught his first keeper of the season coming in at 18″. Kellan is a 2023 Kids Clinic graduate and caught his first keeper off the beach that year and has continued to catch fluke and send me pictures each year! 🙂
