DAILY REPORT

Well, Memorial Day Weekend is upon us and Mother Nature did not want to cooperate. Today is starting out as an overcast morning with a few rain drops so far. The wind right now is coming from the ENE at about 12mph. Currently the surf is calm with 1-2 foot waves (it’s low tide). You will need about 3-4oz to hold. Beach Haven water temp is about 58°. The air temp is currently 57° and heading to 58°.

The bay is calm and 57.9°.

Low tide is at 7:31AM and 7:43PM. High tide is at 12:58AM and 1:44PM.

Still no recent weigh-ins for the Spring Derby but we did have a non-tournament weigh-in here at the shop. Bill Jerome weighed in a 7.25# and 28 5/8″ that he was taking home to have a nice dinner! But I also received pictures yesterday of anglers who caught stripers throughout the day: Jonathan Kelly with a 29″ (20 minutes after he walked out the door with his bait), Nina with a 25″ caught with her bonus tag, and coach with his catch he sent back to swim another day.
