You will need about 3-4oz to hold. Beach Haven water temp is 56.3°. The air temp is currently 53° and heading to 57°.
The bay is choppy and 53.1°.

It’s a beautiful sunny day and a great day to get out on the beach with the winds from the west. Anglers are starting to get some stripers off the surf. Sonny Markoski weighed one here at the shop on Sunday coming in at 8.1# and 28 1/8′ on a lure in Beach Haven and Jim sent me a report that same morning and caught 4 bass using artificial sand eels, this one pictured at 33″. And there was a weigh-in this morning the for Surf Fishing Classic caught on and SP Minnow in Loveladies. So it’s time to get out there! Tog continues to be plentiful up at the lighthouse with a few striped bass caught there too.
By boat, anglers are catching striped bass and sea bass are now at 15 per angler and are pretty plentiful, but you will need to head further out as the usual closer spots are pretty picked over.
