DAILY REPORT

It’s another beautiful sunny, but cooler morning here in Beach Haven! The wind is coming from the NNW at about 9mph. Currently the surf is calm with 2-3 foot waves. You will need about 3-4oz to hold. Beach Haven water temp is 72.3°. The air temp is currently 61° and heading to 72°.

The bay is a little choppy and 68.9°.

Low tide is at 6:45AM and 7:53PM. High tide is at 1:03AM and 1:32PM.

It’s been a bit but we finally had a fluke weigh-in yesterday for the store tournament! Dave Closson has been hot with the tournament weigh-ins, with this one weighing 6.10# which puts this fish currently in 5th place! Fluke at the reefs has been pretty good and there are still a few fluke right out back. In the surf there are fluke but these last couple of days it has been hot with cocktail blues and there are reports of kingfish in the surf too. Up at the lighthouse, Ship Bottom Rob has been catching quite a few tog up but still working towards that keeper. Tog is 1 keeper per person until Nov. 15. Black Sea Bass ends TOMORROW and won’t open again until Oct. 1st.
