It’s another overcast weekend morning in Beach Haven today. This morning the wind is coming from the NNE at about 5mph. Currently the surf is relatively calm with 1-2 foot waves. You will need about 4-5oz to hold. Beach Haven water temp is 64.9°. The air temp is currently 66° and heading to 66°.

We had a striper report yesterday – Eric Stukart caught a 29″ keeper striped bass while out fluking in the surf! Using a pink shine Gulp grub. And out in the back bay, Nick, Michael and Jeff come home with four keepers using minnows. Michael’s fluke was weighed in at 4.66# and 23.25″.
Beach Haven Marlin & Tuna Club’s TUNA OPEN kicks off tonight from 4-9PM with the Captains Meeting at 8PM. Fishing begins on Monday with weigh-ins open to the public from 5-9PM all week! Grab you cooler and hang out along the bay and watch these big tuna come in! For Tuna anglers, we are stocked up with Butterfish and Sardine flats.
