There are more and more kingfish being caught in the surf – in fact Tom caught a kingfish yesterday and cooked it up for dinner last night! Fluke is also pretty active – a lot of shorts, but there have been a few keepers too. Sharks and rays also continue to provide a challenge.
The fluke continue in the bay as well – Mo came in yesterday and bought a new Tsunami bay rod and then caught a 21″ and a 23″ fluke an hour and a half later using gulp! And Rosana caught four fish including this 23″, 4.08lb keeper using a spro bucktail and gulp. Both in back bay.
Its another hot and humid morning – not much wind – blowing E at 3mph. Water temp is 73.
