DAILY REPORT

It’s a mild, overcast morning here in Beach Haven with the sun trying to peek out. The wind this morning is almost non-existent coming from the NE at about 1mph. Currently the surf is moderately with 3-4 foot waves. You will need about 4-5oz to hold. Beach Haven water temp is 75.6°. The air temp is currently 70° and heading to 80°.

The bay is flat calm and 75.4°.

Low tide is at 11:26AM. High tide is at 5:23AM and 5:47PM.

Anglers are still catching fluke in the surf, inlet and out at the reefs. Had a report of some cocktail blues in the surf and we have seen some black drum in the inlet. We are getting to that time where you can have a bunch of fun with the kids at the bulkhead – drop straight down and bounce off the bottom and pick up some little sea bass and blowfish! Tog opened on August 1st at 1 per person (15″).

The Miss Beach Haven continues to catch a bunch of fluke and sea bass. She has morning ocean trips and afternoon inlet trips just about every day. And book this Thursday evenings dusk trip (Happy Hour trip??) – What a great way to end the day with a beautiful view and some fishing! Book online at www.Missbeachhaven.com.

Had a great Kids Clinic yesterday with another 5 new Janglers to the island – Congrats to the class of Monday, August 4th!

Today we have MINNOWS and BLOODWORMS! Don’t forget your bait bucket – If you do not have one, we have Jingles Bait Buckets for just $3! Send us your fishing reports to Instagram, FaceBook or jinglesbait@comcast.net.
