August is here!! But it certainly doesn’t feel like it. It’s a cool, overcast and windy morning here in Beach Haven. The wind this morning is strong coming from the NE at about 20mph. Currently the surf is moderately rough with 2-3 foot waves coming quite frequently. You will need about 5-6oz to hold. Beach Haven water temp is 77.9°. The air temp is currently 68° and heading to 69°.
The bay is calm and 72.3°.
Low tide is at 7:46AM and 8:43PM. High tide is at 1:43AM and 2:20PM.
Fluke fishing continues to be good – with anglers getting fluke in the inlet and out at the reefs, Buuuuut….. not today. Conditions today are not conducive to fishing… but they are for shopping!
