It’s a partly cloudy morning here in Beach Haven. Winds are still blowing…. this morning they are from the NE at about 9mph. The surf is rough with 2-3 foot waves. Just had a customer say he can’t hold with 7 – so you will need about 8-10oz to hold. Atlantic City buoy sea temperature is reported at 70.5°. The air temp is currently 65° and heading to 68°.
The bay is calm but moving at a good clip and 68°.
Low tide is at 6:17AM and 7:22PM. High tide is at 12:22AM and 12:47PM.
The surf is still rough but there have been cocktail bluefish reports. Up at the lighthouse they are using FRESH MULLET and are catching one after another! Tog still good up at the light too. In the surf there are still some kingfish and you have three more days to fish for fluke too. Also hearing of a random striped bass just a bit north so they will be making their way in soon. In the bay there are still fluke, weakfish and blowfish.
Today we have FRESH MULLET, MINNOWS and BLOODWORMS. Don’t forget your bait bucket. If you do not have one, we have Jingles Bait Buckets for just $3! Catching fish?? Send us your reports to jinglesbait@comcast.net.
