It’s a beautiful, sunny, windy September morning here in Beach Haven! Winds this morning are coming from the ENE at about 11mph. The surf is rough with 3-4 foot waves. You will need about 6-8oz to hold. Atlantic City buoy sea temperature is reported at 72°. The air temp is currently 69° and heading to 74°.
The bay is relatively calm and 70°.
Low tide is at 12:52AM and 1:06PM. High tide is at 6:50AM and 7:11PM.
In the surf, there continues to be kingfish, bluefish and a good handful of keeper fluke! In the bay there are still fluke and weakfish but also plenty of blowfish. Out at the 2nd street bulkhead, Alex caught a trigger fish and a sand shark using squid he got at the shop. Also had a report of a nice keeper fluke off of the same bulkhead this weekend! Out at the reefs you can still bring home some fluke for another week and a half.
Today we have FRESH MULLET, MINNOWS and BLOODWORMS. Don’t forget your bait bucket. If you do not have one, we have Jingles Bait Buckets for just $3! Catching fish?? Send us your reports to jinglesbait@comcast.net.
