It’s a beautiful sunny, warm morning here in Beach Haven today! Winds this morning are almost non-existent coming from the WNW at about 3mph. Pack the Captain Ron’s!! The surf is flat calm with a 2 foot swell here and there. You will need about 2-3oz to hold. Atlantic City buoy sea temperature is reported at 74°. The air temp is currently 75° and staying at 80°.
The bay is calm and 74°.
Low tide is at 11:35M. High tide is at 5:22PM and 5:48PM.
Well we had some action this week! Colt outfished is Pop and brought in this nice 3.18# and 21″ fluke caught yesterday! We have also lots of reports of people picking out little fish by the bulkhead. We have had a kingfish, a trigger fish, some blowfish…. And in the surf, there are kingfish and a few reports of the stargazers…which you need to be very careful when handling as they are venemous and can give you an electric shock!
Wednesday we had a full Kids Clinic – congratulation to all of the new J’Anglers!
***The BHMTC White Marlin Invitational Tournament is running in full force!! Today is the third day of fishing. So far the biggest tuna is a Big Eye weighing in at 204.5#! And a number of white marlin releases.
