DAILY REPORT

It’s a warm, overcast morning here in Beach Haven today but I think the sun is supposed to make its way out. Winds are mild coming from the SW at about 6mph. The surf is calm with 1-2 foot waves. You will need about 2-3oz to hold. The LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is reported at 66°. The air temp is currently 75° and heading to 81°.

The bay is calm and 73°.

Low tide is at 4:08AM and 4:15PM. High tide is at 10:01AM and 10:18PM.

No weigh-ins yesterday but there are fluke (lots of shorts) and kingfish in the surf. There are a few small blues as well as plenty of dogfish and rays. In the bay there are fluke, weakfish, blowfish and some snap blues. Out at the reefs you can get some nice fluke and sea bass.

The Miss Beach Haven has been running everyday – some days multiple trips! She been doing really well on sea bass on the morning ocean trip from 8am – 12pm and fluke action seems to be getting better and better.She also runs most days, afternoon bay trips from 1pm – 4pm, and weekends we have dusk trips 5pm – 8pm.
