Who says there are no fluke out there!?! There were three fluke tournaments this weekend and we had a handful of weigh-ins. First Aiden came in with this beauty for the Jingles In-Store tournament weigh-in at 5.4# and 24″! Then we had Jeff Wanamaker and Rosana Schreiber – Jeff – 4.42# and 22.5″ (and an 18″), Rosana – 2.4# and 19.5″. Next we had Mark Borsky out on his kayak with this 4.8# and 23″ (also for the Jingles Store tournament). Then we have Jay Bow with this 21″ off Jingles minnows and lastly we have little Mick Sweeney with a 5.34# fluke which was the biggest in the VFW tournament!!

In the surf there are kingfish and fluke (mostly shorts with a keeper here and there). There are a few small blues as well as plenty of dogfish and rays. In the bay there are fluke, weakfish, blowfish and some snap blues. Out at the reefs you can get some nice fluke and sea bass.

The Miss Beach Haven has been doing really well on sea bass and fluke action seems to be getting better and better. She is running daily! Ocean trips are 8am – 12pm and most days, afternoon bay trips from 1pm – 4pm. Weekends we have dusk trips 5pm – 8pm. Book online at www.missbeachhaven.com!

Today we MINNOWS and BLOODWORMS. Don’t forget your bait bucket. If you do not have one, we have Jingles Bait Buckets for just $3! Catching fish?? Send us your reports to jinglesbait@comcast.net.
