DAILY REPORT

It’s a hazy, humid, hot morning here in Beach Haven and the sun is working its way out! Winds are coming from the SW at about 7mph. The surf is relatively calm with 2-3 foot waves. You will need about 3-4oz to hold. The LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is reported at 65°. The air temp is currently 82° and heading to 85°.

The bay is calm and is 76°.

Low tide is at 11:07AM. High tide is at 4:52AM and 5:24PM.

Store staffer Ryan Pelham has been killing it the past couple of days! He had the first weigh-in for the Beach Haven Junior Mates Fishing tournament with this 20.5″ and 3.4# fluke. Then yesterday he was back with another fluke at 20.6″ and 3.44# and a weakfish at 18/.6″ and 2.34#. The kid is on fire! There are also blowfish and some snap blues in the bay. In the surf there are lots of kingfish and hearing about fluke again. Derek was fishing the surf and got a few small fluke when he saw an Osprey pick a kingfish right out of the water! He then went on to catch just short of a dozen kingfish! Out at the reefs you can get some nice fluke and sea bass.
