DAILY REPORT

It’s been a rainy morning here in Beach Haven, with a possibility of more showers, but the rain should pass and maybe will see a little bit of sun this afternoon. Winds are coming from the S at about 7mph. The surf is currently calm with 2-3 foot waves. You will need about 3-4oz to hold. The LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is reported at 66°. The air temp is currently 73° and heading to 75°.

The bay is calm and is 70°.

Low tide is at 6:57AM and 7:19PM. High tide is at 12:42AM and 1:28PM.

Surf reports have some fluke, some kingfish, some bluefish here and there and then dogfish and rays. In the bay, there have been sporadic reports of back bay keeper fluke and some right out back of Beach Haven. There are also blowfish and snap blues in the bay. The Jingles In-Store Fluke tournament runs all fluke season long with prizes up to fourth place – only $10 to join so don’t miss out!

On Wednesday we had a small Kids Clinic and we have two new J’Anglers on the island! We also had the pleasure of assisting the Beach Haven School with their summer curriculum and had 10 kids take part in a special Kids Clinic! It was a blast and the kids had a great time. Kids Clini is held every Monday and Wednesday at 9AM. Details are on our home page. Call the store to register!
