It’s another beautiful sunny, but cooler morning here in Beach Haven! Winds this morning are strong coming from the NE at about 13mph. The surf is calm this morning with 1-2 foot waves. You will need about 3-4oz to hold. The LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is reported at 73°, but Atlantic City buoy temp is reported at 60°. The air temp is currently 70° and heading to 72°.
The bay has a relatively calm and is 63°.
Low tide is at 7:43AM and 8:21PM. High tide is at 1:19AM and 1:59PM.
Not many fluke reports off the surf over the last couple of days, but kingfish is picking up and….. there are still straggler stripers! Bob caught this striped bass on bunker and it measured at 43″. In the bay, we are seeing more keeper fluke! Tomorrow is the BHMTC Fluke-a-mania so hoping there are lots of fluke weighed in! Don’t forget to also sign up for the Jingles In-Store Fluke tournament.
