It’s a beautiful sunny morning here in Beach Haven! Winds this morning are coming from the WNW at about 10mph. The surf is calm this morning with 1-2 foot waves. You will need about 3-4oz to hold. The LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is reported at 75°, but Atlantic City buoy temp is reported at 58°. The air temp is currently 71° and heading to 85°.
The bay has a little chop and is 65°.
Low tide is at 5:14AM and 5:16PM. High tide is at 11:14AM and 11:28PM.
Anglers still getting fluke in the surf. Also now getting some reports of kingfish! Other than that, dogfish and rays and maybe a straggler striper or blue. In the bay, more keeper fluke are starting to appear! Don’t forget to sign up for the Jingles In-Store Fluke tournament. It runs all fluke season long with prizes up to fourth place!
The Jingles In-Store Spring Striper/Bluefish tournament has come to an end! Striped Bass winner is Jonathan Kelly with 11.22# (30.99″) and our Bluefish winner is Rich Sherman with 13.44# (37.5″). Congratulations to you both!
