HAPPY FLAG DAY!! It’s going to be a mostly sunny warm day here in Beach Haven! Chance of thunderstorms later tonight. Winds this morning are coming from the SSW at about 11mph. The surf is calm with 0-1 foot waves. You will need about 3-4oz to hold. The LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 69°. The air temp is currently 72° and heading to 79°.

The bay is relatively calm and 69°.

Low tide is at 8:44AM and 9:11PM. High tide is at 2:10AM and 2:58PM.

Just like I said…. Rich Sherman came in with a bluefish weigh-in that has put him in first place for the Spring Derby and the Jingles In-Store tournament!! Rich caught this 37.5″ and 13.44# bluefish in Spray Beach yesterday on bunker. Just over a week left in these tournaments – don’t give up! Bob Glynn also still had some bluefish luck. Also in the surf, there are plenty of dogfish and rays, but anglers are also have success catching fluke. In the bay, there are fluke, weakfish and bluefish. Come in and sign up for our in-store fluke tournament – It runs the entire season… prizes up to fourth place!
