Happy Father’s Day!! It’s a beautiful morning here in Beach Haven today! Currently, winds are coming from the WNW at about 11mph. Currently, the surf is flat calm with 1-2 foot waves. Low tide is at 2:54AM and 2:42PM. High tide is at 8:45AM and 8:53PM.
Still a straggler striper showing up in the surf as well as some bluefish. You can also catch some fluke and kingfish in the surf too – On Thursday Matt Kreider had two keeper fluke off the surf – 17.5″ and 20″using gulp!! In the bay there are fluke, small blues and a sporadic weakfish – had heard there are some blowfish as well. On Thursday evening, The Miss Beach Haven had some success on its first evening fluke trip. The evening trips run Thurs – Sun. Today there are two trips: 8am-noon and 1pm-4pm. Grab Dad and take him fishing!
